KENSINGTON OVAL BOX OFFICE OPENS 7 AUGUST

The Barbados Royals Box Office will open on Thursday 7 August ahead of franchise’s first home match in this year’s Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League (CPL). The Box Office, located at the Kensington Oval, will open on Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm for fans to book their seats to cheer the Royals to another title.

The Barbados Royals have strengthened their arsenal for this year’s CPL with the explosive additions of Brandon King and Sherfane Rutherford, joining captain Rovman Powell in what promises to be one of the most dynamic batting line-ups of the tournament.

Adding to the firepower are some of Barbados’ most promising young stars, with Shaqkere Parris, Ramon Simmonds, Johan Layne, and Nyeem Young all set to feature. The Royals’ blend of youth and experience reflects a clear intent to reclaim the CPL crown.

Returning international icons Quinton de Kock and Mujeeb ur Rahman add further depth, ensuring the Royals are a formidable force on all fronts.

The Royals’ first home match will be a blockbuster showdown against the Guyana Amazon Warriors - a fixture known for drawing the largest contingent of traveling fans to Barbados. With home pride on the line, the Royals are calling on their supporters to fill the stands and outcheer the Warriors.

The energy in the stands makes a real difference, and the Royals will be pumped up to see the Kensington Oval rocking. For the Royals, this season is about pushing harder, playing louder, and lifting that third CPL trophy.

Fans can also look forward to more than just world-class cricket. Halftime concerts featuring top Caribbean artists, and in-stadium fan activations never seen before in the region, will make the CPL 2025 experience more immersive and entertaining than ever.
