ABOUT THE CARIBBEAN PREMIER LEAGUE

First started in 2013, the Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League (CPL) is a franchise-based T20 format cricket tournament that combines two of the most compelling aspects of Caribbean life – dramatic cricket and a vibrant Carnival atmosphere. The 2025 tournament will take place from 14 August to 21 September. The broadcast and digital viewership in 2024 was 1.13billion to make it one of the most watched leagues in world cricket. Saint Lucia Kings are the current Republic Bank CPL champions, and the other franchise teams are Antigua & Barbuda Falcons, Barbados Royals, Guyana Amazon Warriors, St Kitts & Nevis Patriots and Trinbago Knight Riders.
