REPUBLIC BANK CPL DELIVERS US$19.9 MILLION FOR ST KITTS & NEVIS IN 2025

The Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League (CPL) generated a total event impact of US$19.9 million for St Kitts & Nevis during the 2025 tournament, according to an independent Economic Impact Assessment conducted by GSIQ.

Five CPL matches played at the Warner Park Sporting Complex delivered a direct economic impact of US$14 million, alongside US$5.9 million in international media value promoting St Kitts & Nevis across global broadcast, digital and social platforms

A total of 17,019 fans attended CPL matches in St Kitts & Nevis, including 3,105 international visitors. Visiting supporters stayed an average of 3.7 nights and spent an average of US$3,100 per trip, contributing US$12.0 million in attendee spending that supported accommodation providers, restaurants, transport operators and local businesses across the federation.

CPL’s direct investment into St Kitts & Nevis continued to deliver benefits to the local economy. In 2025, the tournament spent US$1.1 million locally, creating 94 new jobs, investing US$413,000 with local suppliers, and spending US$149,000 on salaries. The tournament also supported community initiatives including development cricket programmes and CSR initiatives benefiting government and community organisations.

Over the past decade, the CPL and the St Kitts & Nevis Patriots have invested US$13.6 million directly into St Kitts & Nevis, demonstrating the long-term economic partnership between the tournament and the federation.

In addition to the economic contribution, St Kitts & Nevis benefited from extensive global exposure through the tournament. The event generated US$5.9 million in international media value, with broadcast coverage accounting for the vast majority of that exposure. India proved to be the most valuable international broadcast market, generating US$3.2 million in media value and highlighting the CPL’s ability to showcase St Kitts & Nevis to audiences around the world.
